The 488 Pista is the successor to the 458 Speciale and the most extreme road version Ferrari built of the 488. The 3.9 litre twin-turbo V8 produces 720 ps at 8,000 rpm and 770 Nm, with an engine that shares 50 per cent of its components with the 488 Challenge race car. The Pista is 90 kg lighter than the 488 GTB through carbon fibre body panels, a lithium-ion battery and a lighter exhaust. The S-Duct, an aerodynamic channel that routes air through the nose upward to generate additional downforce on the front axle, was applied by Ferrari for the first time on a production car with the Pista. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and was originally delivered on the French Riviera. The complete service history is documented exclusively at official Ferrari dealers: a first service at Ferrari Cannes in July 2020 at 3,508 km, annual services at G. Cavallari Monaco Motors in Monaco in January 2022 at 12,670 km and October 2023 at 18,710 km, a full service at Scuderia Monte-Carlo in December 2025 at 19,852 km including engine oil, oil filter and brake fluid replacement, and a battery policy update in April 2026. Fun fact: the brake servo is taken directly from the 488 Challenge race car. There is no softness at the top of the brake pedal travel, the brakes respond immediately the moment you touch the pedal.
