La vettura in vendita ha partecipato alla Mille Miglia del 1947 con equipaggio Benedetti – Corsini (Numero 72) e nel 1948 con equipaggio Genazzani – Corsini (numero 329), alla Firenze Fiesole del 1948 e al Circuito delle Cascine del 1947, oltre ad altre competizioni e con varie tipologie di carrozzeria. Censita nel libro “La Sport ed i suoi artigiani”del Curami e nel database “Archivio Sport”, risulta essere la prima costruita Sport costruita da Elio Benedetti. Il numero telaio riporta la punzonatura telaio d'ufficio originale dell'immatricolazione Firenze costruita da Elio Benedetti partendo dal telaio nudo nuovo di fabbrica. La carrozzeria attuale, in alluminio, è stata installata negli anni 1987-1988 sullo stile “siluro” in linea con l'ultima carrozzeria montata dopo il 1948. Fascicolo storico completo con molte foto d'epoca, palmares, cronologia proprietari, estratti del Museo Mille Miglia e documentazione a disposizione. Vettura dotata di passaporto FIVA, targhe tedesche con possibilità di reimmatricolazione con le targhe originali, ha ricevuto un restauro meccanico di motore, cambio, sospensioni e ciclistica per oltre 50,000 Euro documentati da foto e fatture che la rendono pronta all'uso. Preparazione dell'epoca con doppi carburatori, rinvio corto del cambio, pompa dell'acqua esterna, contagiri cronomeccanico, cerchi Fergat e molto altro. It also competed in the 1948 Firenze-Fiesole hill climb and the 1947 Circuito delle Cascine, among other events, appearing with various body configurations over the races. Documented in Curami’s book *La Sport ed i suoi artigiani* and listed in the "Archivio Sport" Database, this is the first sport car built by Elio Benedetti, who constructed it using a brand-new, bare factory chassis. The chassis number bears the original official “d'ufficio assigned” stamping from its initial registration in Florence. The current aluminum body—featuring a "torpedo" (siluro) style—was fitted between 1987 and 1988, reflecting the design of the final bodywork the car wore after 1948. A comprehensive historical file is available, including numerous period photographs, a record of race results, a list of previous owners, Mille Miglia museum abstracts and supporting documentation. The car holds a FIVA passport and is currently registered in Germany (with the possibility of reverting to its original Italian registration). It has undergone a mechanical restoration—covering the engine, gearbox, suspension, and chassis components—totaling over 50,000 Euros, fully documented by photographs and invoices. The vehicle features period-correct performance modifications, including dual carburetors, a short-throw gear linkage, an external water pump, a mechanical tachometer, Fergat wheels, and more.
